Celloxide is Daicel Corporation's tradename for their unique line of cycloaliphatic epoxy resins that are produced from the reaction of olefins with peracetic acid. The resulting epoxy resins contain no hydrolysable chlorine content, and the epoxide groups are integral to the cycloaliphatic ring. These low viscosity resins can be cured by heat or by cationic UV cure. The Celloxide range of epoxy resins exhibit high heat distortion temperatures, excellent electrical insulation, and excellent transparency. Particularly suitable for use in electrical insulating varnishes, sealant applications, and composites.
