Blowing Catalysts

Tri-iso distributes a wide range of blowing catalysts that allow formulators to produce high quality polyurethane systems.  Catalysts are chemicals that reduce the energy of activation, allowing reactions to occur faster and at lower temperatures than otherwise possible.  Catalysts do not directly participate in the reaction, and remain unchanged in the system once the reaction is complete.  Blowing catalysts are most selective to catalyzing the reaction of the isocyanate with water to produce carbon dioxide gas, which creates foam.
