Bis Oxazolidines

Tri-iso distributes a wide range of bis oxazolidines that allow formulators to produce high quality moisture cure polyurethane coatings.  Bis oxazolidines are molecules that react with atmospheric moisture to form tetrafunctional species.  Specifically, upon reaction with moisture, bis oxazolidines ring-open to form a compound that contains two amino groups and two hydroxyl groups which are free to react with isocyanates present in the coating formulation.  In the process of ring opening, bis oxazolidines release either an aldehyde or ketone, depending on the structure of the particular bis oxozolidine used.
